Los Angeles neo-psychedelic act Vinyl Williams, fronted by multimedia artist Lionel William, gives us a glimpse of his new album Aeterna, with hypnotic lead single 'Petroglyph'. Showcasing a lush blend of synth-tinged instrumentals and echoing percussion with soft, melodic vocals the groovy track is vibrant yet foreboding. The layered sonics unravel to reveal a trademark mix of jangle pop/lo-fi/psych/space rock, striking an easy balance between intense and soothing. Framed by a psychedelic vibe that crafts an intricate illusion to carry us away into a colourful but pulsating dreamlike space, 'Petrogylph' manages to fascinate us endlessly on each listen of the murky yet floaty production. -Malvika Padin
